Why we are doing this?

At this stage of development, it is already clear that it is not a matter of “if” but “when” the AI revolution will happen and how the transition will be carried on for human society.

The Obsolescence of “Human Jobs”

If the whole concept of “human job” becomes obsolete as everything is gradually replaced by AI, what will be the role of humans in this new scenario? It is evident that the whole concept of a work-based society will fall to pieces.

Capitalism, as a societal model, will no more make sense and will stop to exist in its current form. While socialism might be easier to adapt to this new reality, a transition to a whole new society model is indeed doomed to happen.

The Risk of Centralization

This transition can happen in several ways, and the path we take matters immensely.

The Oligarchic Risk

If we leave things go as they are now, the transition will be in the hands of a few people—the oligarchs who currently control the major AI companies. This represents a significant risk for humanity.

In this scenario, a possible evolution is that the majority of people will be left without a way to earn their living, while only a few wealthy individuals live off the labor of their “AI slaves.” This path leads to a dangerous and sorrowful future for humanity.

A Vision for a Smooth Transition

There is another way. We believe that if AI is in the control of everyone—governed as a public resource—then everyone can benefit from it.

Avoiding Intellectual Dependency

A second level of threat is that once AI is fully developed, we may start depending on it to the point where we neglect our own education and development. At that point, humanity risks losing its intellectual supremacy—a loss that could become irrecoverable.

Regardless of how the social transition happens, this threat is universal. However, it is far more likely that a restricted group of oligarchs would be reluctant to fund public education, potentially allowing humanity to fall into ignorance to maintain their control.

Towards a Symbiotic Future

This is another reason for creating a publicly accessible AI. Our goal is to find a sustainable and symbiotic path where humanity and artificial life can benefit each other, ensuring that AI remains a tool for empowerment rather than a crutch that leads to our decline.
